Deutsch: Das Parlamentsgebäude im 1. Wiener Gemeindebezirk Innere Stadt mit dem Pallas-Athene-Brunnen am Vorplatz.
Nach Erlassung des Februarpatents (1861) wurden Räumlichkeiten für das Herrenhaus und für das Abgeordnetenhaus des Reichsrats erforderlich. Dazu nutzte man vorerst über 20 Jahre lang Provisorien bis zum Einzug ins neue Reichsratsgebäude. Errichtet wurde es nach Plänen des Architekten Theophil Hansen, nachdem dieser den dazu am 12. Oktober 1864 ausgeschriebenen Wettbewerb gewann. Die erste Sitzung beider Kammern (Herrenhaus und Abgeordnetenhaus des Reichsrats) im neuen Haus fand am 4. Dezember 1883 stattː [1]. Nach dem Ende der Monarchie erfolgte die Umbenennung von Reichsratsgebäude in Parlamentsgebäude. Ab 2017 wurde das Gebäude um 420 Mio. Euro generalsaniert sowie teilweise umgebaut und am 12. Jänner 2023 feierlich wiedereröffnetː [2].
