Deutsch: Das Palais Nassau, in dem die Botschaft der Russischen Föderation residiert, an der Adresse Reisnerstraße 45–47 im 3. Wiener Gemeindebezirk Landstraße.
Das Palais wurde 1872/73 nach Plänen des Architekten Alois Wurm-Arnkreuz im Stil der Wiener Neorenaissance errichtet. Bauherr war der Banker Israel Simon aus Hannover, der 1867 nach Wien übersiedelte. Beim großen Börsenkrach von 1873 verlor er aber viel Geld und musste 1874 das Palais an Herzog Adolph von Nassau verkaufen. 1891 wurde das Gebäude vom damaligen russischen Botschafter, Fürst Aleksej Lobanow-Rostowskij, für Botschaftszwecke erworben. Ursprünglich war es ein zweigeschossiges Gebäude mit 9 Fenstern an der Hauptfassade und 6 Fenstern an der Seitenfront, später wurde es um ein Geschoss erhöht und mit mehreren anderen Gebäuden ergänzt. Ab 1893 wurde ostseitig auf dem Botschaftsgelände die russisch-orthodoxe Kathedrale hl. Nikolaus errichtet (Fertigstellung 1899): [1], [2].
