A typical scene at Waterloo Station in the 1950's. At one of the main line platforms (No. 12), N15 Class 4-6-0 No. 30453 'King Arthur', after which the Class was know was not the first, being a Maunsell-modified Urie variant built post-Grouping in 2/25 (withdrawn in 7/61). Here in its latter days it is on the 14.54 stopping train to Basingstoke; at Platform 11 is an EMU service to Alton.
