ไทย: วัดอรุณราชวรารามเป็นพระอารามหลวงชั้นเอก ชนิดราชวรมหาวิหาร ตั้งอยู่ทางทิศตะวันตกของแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยา และฟากตะวันออกของถนนอรุณอมรินทร์ ระหว่างคลองนครบาลหรือคลองวัดแจ้งกับพระราชวังเดิม ตำบลวัดอรุร อำเภอบางกอกใหญ่ จังหวัดธนบุรี เป้นวัดโบราณสร้างมาแต่ครั้งสมัยอยุธยา เดิมเรียกว่า “วัดมะกอก” ภายหลังเปลี่ยนเป็นวัดมะกอกนอก แล้วเปลี่ยนเป็น วัดแจ้ง วัดอรุรราชธาราม และวัดอรุณราชวราราม โดยลำดับ ปัจจุบันเรียกชื่อว่า “วัดอรุณราชวราราม”
