Notes Małgorzata Kotowska née Durant was a daughter of a tailor Jakub (Jacques) Durant from Saint-Paul in France. In 1659 she married Adam Kotowski. As a friend of Queen Marie Casimire Sobieska she was engaged in diplomatic missions for the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.
