Description
English: War memorial in Wollaton Park, Nottingham, to the American 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment who were based in the park during the Second World War. According to the plaque, 616 members of the regiment were killed in action on operations in occupied Europe, 1274 wounded in action, and a further 254 were declared missing in action.
