Opened in 1911 by Edwin Dawson. He sold it to Bock & Gellerman, who ran it for six months before selling it to Martin B. Donovan. Mr Donovan sold it to J.B. Washtock in 1914, who was still operating it in 1916 in partnership with his wife.
