Summary

Description
English: A section of the upper Poddle River, often known in these reaches as Tymon River, in the western division of Tymon Park, in Tymon North, Tallaght (the river continues under the M50 orbital motorway to the eastern division, in other districts). The river rises in Cookstown, NW of Tallaght, and near the illustrated part, ponds have been artificially formed on it. At this point the river is 70-80m above sea level, falling gently towards Kimmage and the city centre.
