Description

Banquet given by King John III Sobieski of Poland to foreign diplomats and Polish dignitaries at Jaworów (now Yavoriv, Ukraine) on 6 July 1684. Woodcut by an anonymous artist from Józef Łoski's book Jan Sobieski, jego rodzina, towarzysze broni i współczesne zabytki (John Sobieski, His Family, Comrades in Arms and Contemporary Artefacts) published in Warsaw in 1883. Based on a 1685 oil painting attributed to Frans Geffels.
