Description
English: A starboard bow view of the USNS HIDDENSEE (185NS9201) moored at the Naval Sea Systems Command facility at Solomons Annex. The Soviet-built Tarantul I class missile corvette was acquired from the Federal German navy in November 1991, and is currently undergoing testing and evaluation by the U.S. Navy. The guided missile frigate USS OLIVER HAZARD PERRY (FFG-7) is moored behind HIDDENSEE and two Coast Guard buoy tender target hulks are in the background.
Deutsch: Eine Steuerbord-Bugansicht der USNS HIDDENSEE (185NS9201), die in der Base des Naval Sea Systems Command im Solomons Annex festgemacht ist. Die von der Sowjetunion gebaute Raketenkorvette der Klasse Tarantul I wurde im November 1991 von der Bundesmarine erworben und wird derzeit von der US-Marine getestet und bewertet. Die Lenkflugkörper-Fregatte USS OLIVER HAZARD PERRY (FFG-7) ist hinter HIDDENSEE festgemacht und zwei Küstenwache-Bojentender sind im Hintergrund.
