More than one thousand sailors and Royal Marines sailed on a three-month mission to the Mediterranean to forge the commando forces of tomorrow.

UK flagship HMS Albion led a force which visited numerous nations across the Mediterranean and Black Sea as the UK’s armed forces nurtures new friendships and cements traditional alliances.

RFA Lyme Bay is a Bay-class landing ship dock of the Royal Fleet Auxiliary. She is capable of delivering a significant fighting force anywhere in the world.
