Summary

Description
English: Example of a two-dimensional twin lattice. The black and blue lattices are two twin individuals. Their unit cells are represented as black and blue parallelograms, respectively. The twin element of symmetry is represented by the red line. The common nodes to both lattices by application of the twin symmetry operation are marked in red. The unit cell of the twin lattice is the red parallelogram (although it looks like it in this figure, the cell of the twin lattice is not centered).
