Deutsch: Das am 8. Mai 1952 eingeweihte Tillmannhaus war das erste vom Studentenwerk Bonn e.V. erbaute Wohnheim, es bot bewusst viel Fläche für Gemeinschaftsaktivitäten und Geselligkeit, was sich bereits in der großzügigen Gestaltung des Treppenhauses als Eingangsfoyer mit zum Verweilen einladenden Sitzecken spiegelte. Man beachte auch die beiden Topfpflanzen. Die heute spartanisch-nüchtern wirkende Architektur inklusive der harten Kontraste des schachbrettartigen Fliesenbodens lag in den 1950ern absolut im Trend modernen Wohnens. Benannt wurde das Haus nach Prof. Fritz Tillmann, 1919-1921 Rektor der Uni Bonn und ab 1923 Vorsitzender des Vereins Studentenwohl, welcher 1951 in Studentenwerk Bonn e.V. umbenannt wurde (ab 1974 als AöR). Das genaue Aufnahmedatum ist unbekannt, stattdessen wurde in den Dateiattributen das Eröffnungsdatum des Hauses angegeben. |
