DescriptionThe sun sets on the Victorian rail network - geograph.org.uk - 1061738.jpg
English: The sun sets on the Victorian rail network A view from the tramway zig-zags ascending from this crossing of the Nant Byfre up the hillside behind the photographer. The embankment carries the line high above the stream as it winds north towards Crai, Sennybridge and Brecon. The line closed like so many others in the 1960's. The distant shadowed east face of Fan Hir carries a dusting of snow in this late afternoon shot.
