English: General Martin Teofilo Delgado led the revolution against the Spanish colonizers in Iloilo Province and led the raising of the Philippine flag in Sta. Barbara in the Iloilo Province on November 17, 1898. This was the first raising of the Philippine flag outside of Luzon. His statue stands in the public plaza of Sta. Barbara in the Iloilo Province.
