Admiral H R Stark, USN, commanding US Naval Forces in Europe, accompanied by Mr Winant, the United States ambassador, and members of his staff, visited the Admiralty. Mr Churchill and the First Lord of the Admiralty Mr A V Alexander attended the meeting.
