Summary

Description
English: The F-106 "Delta Dart" on display at the Aerospace Museum of California in the museum's Air Park. This F-106 carries the colors of the 5th Fighter Squadron. It once survived a mid-air collision where it lost the first fourteen feet of its nose. This F-106’s last assignment was to test the feasibility of launching satellites into space from its internal bay. Volunteers from the Aerospace Museum of California finished the restoration of this aircraft in 2006.
