The logo is used solely for purposes of identification and critical commentary on a subject of public interest. Because it is a logo there is no free equivalent, and the entire logo must be used to convey the meaning and avoid misrepresenting the Taiwan Society's corporate branding. As a logo it is significant because it helps the reader identify the Taiwan Society, assures the reader that they have reached the right article, and illustrates the Taiwan Society's intended branding message in a way that words alone could not convey. Care was taken to copy the logo in a size and resolution sufficient to maintain the quality intended by the Taiwan Society, without being overly high resolution.
