DescriptionSyrian refugee children in a Lebanese school classroom (15101234827).jpg
The UK is supporting efforts to get Syrian refugee children back into school, both inside Syria, and in neighbouring countries such as Lebanon and Jordan - to help prevent a lost generation.
The conflict in Syria has displaced millions of people inside the country, and over 3 million Syrians have become refugees - more than half of whom are children.
UK aid is providing text books for Syrian and Lebanese children in Lebanon, building additional classrooms and supporting non-formal education in refugee camps and settlements.
