English: Struan House was originally built from 1873 to 1875 and was used as a private residence, mainly by local pastoralists. It was sold to the South Australian Government in 1946 and became "Struan Farm School" for the training and rehabilitation of delinquent boys. In 1969, the Department of Agriculture took over the facility and associated land for use as an agricultural research station.
