Summary

Description

Owls belong to the order Strigiformes and are fascinating birds of the night. They have large, round eyes that give them excellent night vision and a unique anatomy that allows them to fly silently. Owls are efficient hunters and feed mainly on small mammals, birds and insects. They have symbolic significance in many cultures and are important components of many ecosystems. Protecting their habitats is crucial to conserving their populations and appreciating their contribution to nature.
