English: Coetzenburg - Stellenbosch Mountain : The areas offers superb scenic views over mountains, vineyards and orhards covered with wild flowers in spring. The magnificent mountains ranges reach heights of 1600 metres, forming a spectacular backdrop to the town.
Stellenbosch Mountain is situated to the south of Stellenbosch, and from the top hikers can see views of Table Mountain, Helderberg, False Bay, Stellenbosch and the Jonkershoek valley. The start of the trail is on the eastern side of the Coetzenburg Athletic Stadium. |
