Jimmy Horton (#32), Stanley Smith (#49), Ritchie Petty (#53), and Rick Mast (#1, hidden in smoke) wreck in the 1993 DieHard 500 at Talladega Superspeedway. Horton landed in the parking lot outside of the track and was not significantly injured; Smith suffered a basiliar skull fracture and massive blood loss but survived.
