It's worth a visit for its Gothic ambiance, its yew tree avenue, its abundant natural vegetation (berries galore) and its graves which include Benjamin Jowett and other academic worthies, as well as a touching memorial to a young man killed when road-testing a racing car in the 1930s; his wife joined him in the grave some 60 years later. |
