Summary

Description
English: St James' Bridge, Omagh. This historic bridge is on the Irishtown Road and is over the Drumragh River. It is so-called as it is believed that King James with a contingent of troups was believed to have crossed over it enroute to a famous battle. It is narrow and only allows for single traffic and there are V-shaped "draw-in" spaces for pedestrians. For many years there wasn't traffic lights and motorists had to proceed carefully.
