English: Sollom Lock. Originally actually a lock on the Douglas Navigation, but incorporated into the line of the Rufford Branch of the Leeds & Liverpool Canal in 1782... but no longer required as a lock. Stop planks, in case of a breach in the canal, are ready on the bank.
