English: The site of the Ben Quick Ranch and Fort, north of Palmer Lake, Colorado (Douglas County). According to History Colorado, "Although there are no visible remains, it is the site of Fort Washington, a log stockade that enclosed a homestead cabin and a large well. Built during the Indian Wars of 1868, it was a strong defense point for the entire West Plum Creek Valley." The site is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
