DescriptionSite of Lydd on Sea Station - geograph.org.uk - 449217.jpg
English: Site of Lydd on Sea Station All that really remains since the platforms were demolished in the 1980s is the former station forecourt road. The station was opened when the new branch loop was opened in 1937 in the expectation of population growth. When this failed to materialise the station was downgraded to a halt in 1954 and closed with the rest of the branch in 1967
