English: Sinclair's Cottage Front gate The sign reads:Built in 1866, this cottage is one of the earliest substantial buildings constructed in the Fitzroy Gardens and was used as a residence by caretakers and gardeners until the 1990's. It is named after James Sinclair, head gardener in Fitzroy Gardens during the 1860's and 70's.
The cottage is built of polychrome brick and is designed in an Italianate pattern book style.
