Summary

Description
English: Siding at Cambus O'May station Cambus O'May station on the Deeside Railway was opened in 1876. The picturesque setting of Cambus O'May made it one of the most attractive railway stations not only on the Deeside line but, some said, in the whole country. The tranquil beauty of the site was highly regarded by the directors of the Great North of Scotland Railway Company who used to hold weekend board meetings in a saloon shunted into the siding amidst the silver birches. (Source: Notice at the nearby car park.) The remains of this short platform perhaps mark the location of that siding! It is a just to the east of the station platform.
