English: Ships of the Standing NATO Mine Countermeasures Group 1 sail in formation in Geirangerfjord, Norway, during Exercise Cold Response, 9 March 2022. Over 30,000 troops, 50 surface and sub-surface assets and 200 aircraft from 27 countries participated in the exercise. The ships are (l-r):
  • HMS Grimsby (M108), Sandown-class minehunter, Royal Navy;
  • Hr.Ms. Schiedam (M860), Tripartite-class minehunter, Royal Netherlands Navy;
  • Bad Bevensen (M1063), Frankenthal-class minehunter, German Navy;
  • Lobelia (M921), Tripartite-class minehunter, Belgian Naval Component;
  • Virsaitis (A53), Vidar-class minelayer, Latvian Naval Forces (flagship);
  • KNM Hinnøy (M343), Oksøy-class minehunter, Royal Norwegian Navy;
  • EML Sakala (M314), Sandown-class minehunter, Estonian Navy.
