This is the main building of the Shahidullah Hall, University of Dhaka. Historically this building has great importance. It is containing the architectural view of the early 20th century. It was established in 1921.Then it was named “ Dacca Hall”. In 1939 the name had been changed to Shahidullah Hall.
It is one of the oldest hall of the University of Dhaka. Together with Jagannath Hall and Salimullah Hall, it was also established in 1921 with the birth of Dhaka University.
This building is red in colour and also very eye-catching. It is square in shape and there is a beautiful garden in the middle of the square.
The main building has 90 rooms and can accommodate about 200 students.
Now Shahidullah Hall has another two extension building. But the main building is the most attractive.
