Description
English: Schematic detailing the operation of the SER rheometer. A sample (brown) is held to two rollers, which are then counterrotated to impose a strain on said sample. The torque required to maintain a given strain rate is measured via torque transducers and converted to a stress value. From the measured stress and imposed strain rates, the extensional viscosity of the sample is calculated
