Interieur met vijf weesmeisjes van het Maagdenhuis in Amsterdam zittend aan een tafel. Ze zijn gekleed in een zwart en wit uniform. De linker twee meisjes zijn aan het lezen, de middelste twee aan het naaien en het meisje rechts kijkt voor zich uit.
