Description
English: Scene of the 1910 Houndsditch robbery in which three policemen were murdered. The events led to the Siege of Sidney Street. The caption in the ILN reads: "The burglars objective: Mr HS Harris's shop, which backs onto No 10 Exchange Buildings, and is said to have held between £20,000 and £30,000 worth of jewels."
