English: Dress, evening, woman's champagne coloured silk (crepe), fitted and clinging to hips with flowing skirt, much use of bias cutting for technical purposes and decorative effect, main detail to front is at bodice level with rows of vertical stirring between breasts, high V-neck with six covered buttons, back with 22 covered buttons, sleeves narrow with points over hand and with two buttoned fastenings, shoulder pads. "Cream crepe backed satin, late 1920's wedding dress with full-length sleeves which end in point and finish with pair of self-fabric buttons and loops at wrist. Front and back neck opening finishes close to throat with six self-covered buttons and loops at front and 22 at back. Four shallow pintucks at front shoulder. 8cm ruched section at base of front bodice joins chevron shaped upper edge of bias cut skirt. Left side open has 6 metal press studs. Slightly puffed sleeve has stiff shoulder pads of self fabric."
