DescriptionSX-BVN B757-2G5 Air Scotland(Electra Al) MAN 07JUN03 (8506761202).jpg
English: Air Scotland had a bad reputation for schedule keeping and their single B757, operated by Greek charter company Electra Airlines, was often sick. It only operated for Air Scotland for around three weeks (24-Mar/15-Apr-03) when it was returned to Electra because of serviceability problems. It was impounded at Glasgow (GLA) on 25-Apr-03 for non-payment of landing fees and ferried to Brussels (BRU) 10 days later. Seen in this shot at Manchester (MAN) on 07-Jun-03, still in full Air Scotland c/scheme, it was operating a sub-charter for another airline. Electra Airlines stopped operating in Aug-03 and the aircraft was stored at Perpignan (PGF) where it remained until Apr-04 when it was leased to Primaris Airlines in the USA as N740PA. It's currently (Feb-13) in service with FedEx as N944FD.
