DescriptionSCO Forum 1998 Roger McGuinn performing at Cowell College.jpg
English: Roger McGuinn in an early evening solo performance on the Cowell College patio, as part of the SCO Forum98 computer conference held by the Santa Cruz Operation on the campus of UC Santa Cruz. East Field can be seen behind him and Monterey Bay in the distance. This was the first of three consecutive years that McGuinn performed at SCO Forum.
(A T-shirt made for this occasion, seen in the front center, quotes a couple of lines from Bob Dylan's "Mr. Tambourine Man", which as rearranged and recorded by McGuinn's group, The Byrds, was a number one hit in 1965. As it happens the lines are for a verse which was not included in The Byrds' version and which McGuinn often does not include in his.)
This is a retouched picture, which means that it has been digitally altered from its original version. Modifications: a few scratch/dust marks removed from scan of original Ektachrome slide.
