Deutsch: Berlin: Südende der Trassenfreihaltung für eine evtl. S21-Teilstück gesehen von der Ecke Reichpietschufer/Gabriele-Tergit-Promenade aus.
Im Vordergrund die Büste von Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy Unter bzw in den Gebäuden, die sich vom Potsdamer Platz bis Reichpietschufer zwischen Köthener Straße und Gabriele-Tergit-Promenade erstrecken, wurde ein Raum freigehalten für eine eventuelle S-Bahn-Strecke, die als Teil des Projekts "S21" die Station Potsdamer Platz mit den oberirdischen S-Bahn-Strecken südlich vom Anhalter Bahnhof verbinden würde, dabei parallel mit der Hochbahnstrecke der U-Bahn verlaufend. Die Trasse steigt von dem unterirdischen Bahnhof Potsdamer Platz bis zu ihrem südlichen Ende an, um eine Brücke über den Landwehrkanal anschließen zu können. |
