Summary

Went for a morning walk around Alcester in Warwickshire. Alcester is market town that was founded by the Romans.
It has been closed for the duration of lockdown. Hopefully Government restrictions could change from July 2020. Also known as the Roman Alcester Heritage Centre. Located in Globe House. It is now also home to Alcester Library. Under the name Alcester Library and Roman Museum. The museum opened in 2005. The building was formerly the old Magistrates Court building.
Commissioned in 1969 and put in the garden of Alcester's new civic buildings. It was sculpted by Walter Richie and was commissioned by the now former Warwickshire County Architect Eric Davies. There is six panels:
