Date This is described as an "oversized" postcard (larger than a traditionally sized card). Because the card was larger than a normal postcard, it was not able to be mailed at the cheaper "postcard" rates, but had to have the same postage as a first class mail letter. postage of five cents printed where a stamp goes.
