Summary

Shaded relief image from the National Atlas Mapmaker, [1] archive copy at the Wayback Machine showing of the valley of Glacial River Warren across southern Minnesota in central North America. At upper left (NW) is the bed of Glacial Lake Agassiz surrounded on three sides by the U-shaped Big Stone Moraine. The outflow from Lake Agassiz cut a spillway through the moraine at Traverse Gap and became River Warren. The river's channel and its direction of flow cross the image from west to east.
