English: Exterior view of the second River Station of the Southern Pacific — on San Fernando Road north of Chinatown in Los Angeles (ca.1919).
  • The 1887 brick Romanesque Revival style building has an arcade of windows along the street facade. It replaced the first River Station, an 1876 wooden building on the site. The second station was demolished in 1901.
  • The site of the former River Stations is in "The Cornfield" area of Los Angeles State Historic Park.
