Summary

Description Reticulated 820-silver alloy (82 % silver / 18 % copper). Reticulation is the production of a wrinkled surface on silver and gold alloys through heating and pickling several times alternatively (generally eight to ten times). This metallurgical process is also known by the Russian word "samorodok" since it was popularized by Fabergé and other Russian jewelers.
