Description
English: Renée-Marguerite Cramer (1887-1963) working in the Entente department of the International Prisoners-of-War (IPWA) at the Musée Rath during the First World War. She went on to become the first ever female delegate of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in 1917 and the first ever woman to become an ICRC member shortly after WWI. After her marriage in 1920 she changed her surname to Frick-Cramer. From the collections of the City of Geneva (Ville de Genève) and the ICRC.
