DescriptionReigate Town Centre - geograph.org.uk - 1042922.jpg
English: Reigate Town Centre. Viewed from the tower of St Mary's Church (see 645450). Particular features visible are (from left to right) Morrisons supermarket (see 1042861), Reigate Methodist Church (see 1040581), the clock tower on the Old Town Hall (see 1042854) and The Barons (see 1042850).
Running across the rear of the photo are the North Downs, with the stretch from Guildford to Dorking in the far distance (the spire of Ranmore Church is just visible) and the stretch from near Box Hill to the Betchworth Quarries to the right of the photo.
Just visible near the left hand edge of the photo is the windmill on Reigate Heath (see 632932), fittingly seen from here since it is consecrated as a chapel, under the auspices of St Mary's Church.
