Norsk bokmål: Mandag 7. desember ble det funnet et skilt med teksten ”Reichskommissar für die besetzten Norwegischen Gebiete Dienstelle Trondheim" (Rikskommissær for de besatte norske områdene, tjenestested Trondheim).
Skiltet ble funnet av marinarkeolog David Tuddenham, dykkeleder Trond Aurmo og redningsdykker Rasmus Svennson - et team marinarkeologer fra NTNU Vitenskapsmuseet.
Skiltet ble kanskje brukt på Stiftsgården, som var Trondheimskontor for rikskommissæren.
English: On the 7th of December, 2009, a sign was recovered from Nidelva, Trondheim. It read ”Reichskommissar für die besetzten Norwegischen Gebiete Dienstelle Trondheim", which translates to "Reich Commissariat for the Norwegian occupied areas, Trondheim service area". The sign was discovered by team of marine archeologists at NTNU University Museum; led by David Tuddenham, lead diver Trond Aurmo, and rescue diver Rasmus Svennson. The sign was most likely hung at Stiftsgården, at the office of Trondheim's Reich Commissariat.
