English: Beohar Rammanohar Sinha (1929-2007): Internationally-acclaimed contemporary artist from Shantiniketan, renowned for his unique Sino-Indian style of painting in mixed-media and watercolour. Rammanohar was mentored by the revivalist modernist Indian maestro Nandalal Bose and also worked with Chinese maestros Li Keran, Qi Baishi, Fu Baoshi and others. He decorated the original calligraphic manuscript of Constitution of India, played an important role in India’s cultural diplomacy with the Far East, painted a multitude of murals in Fresco-secco and exhibited his paintings worldwide. His art is a part of numerous prestigious public and private collections in European, North American and Asian countries.
