Summary

Description
English: Quarrywood House A private house since 1968, this Category B listed building was originally the manse next to the new parish kirk at Spynie. Some sources say it was designed by William Robertson and built in 1840-1, others that it was by his nephews Alexander and William Reid and built in 1844. Besides a commodious house the minister benefited from a 12 acre glebe and stabling for 7 horses. Photographed from the garden with kind permission of the present owner.
