DescriptionProgesterone levels with a single 25 or 100 mg rectal suppository in women.png
English: Levels of progesterone (ng/mL) with rectal administration of a single suppository containing 25 mg in 6 premenopausal women or 100 mg in 5 premenopausal women. The women were all in the follicular phase of the menstrual cycle (specifically day 7 to 13 of the cycle). The suppository consisted of progesterone mixed with cocoa fat. Progesterone levels were determined "with the use of the competitive protein-binding technique of Neil1 and associates10 as modified by Johansson.4"
